You’re a trashman,

Picking me up when I’m down in the dumps.

You’re nicotine gum,

Calming me and breaking my habits.

You’re a pooper scooper,

Cleaning me up when I’m a piece of shit.

You’re a forest fire,

burning me down to grow anew.

You’re solitary confinement,

Driving me crazy yet showing me myself.

You are stitches,

closing what I cannot heal.

You’re carbon dioxide,

making it hard to breathe.

You’re a blackhole,

mind boggling and all consuming.

You are a virus,

changing my biology.

You’re a mutation,

forever altering my DNA.

You are you,

and unlike anything I’ve ever known.

Mainly post poetry. Tends to lean towards the depressing side. Occasional attempts imploring my gallows humor. Likely an undiagnostic nihilists…
